Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine, raising their levels in the blood and ensuring availability for bone formation.Vitamin K2 (MK-7) activates osteocalcin and matrix Gla-protein (MGP)—two key proteins that help bind calcium to the bone matrix and prevent calcium accumulation in soft tissues and blood vessels.
Together, D3 and K2 promote proper calcium utilization, enhance bone mineralization, and support healthy skeletal growth in children.
