Mechanism of Action

Prolaxan is the most extensively studied probiotic strain. Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG is a bacteria that exists naturally in the body, primarily in the intestines. It can survive in the stomach acid and bile, adhere to human intestinal epithelial cells, and offer health benefits. Prolaxan promotes the balance of the intestinal microbiota to provide digestive assistance and immune support. It exerts its effects by competitively binding to the sites where pathogens could, Influences the epithelial barrier function, blocks pro-inflammatory molecules and releases antimicrobial substances that can kill pathogens. All of this activity contributes to the strength of the epithelial barrier, which in turn provides a defense against potential toxins, pathogens, and inflammatory responses.
