Pharyngitis

Pharyngitis Indicated for temporary relief following occasional mouth and throat symptoms including minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat Allow lozenge to dissolve slowly in mouth; may be repeat q2hr PRN Not to exceed 10 lozenges/day

Hypersensitivity

Lozenges considered a choking hazard in young children Advise patients to discontinue and seek medical advice if sore throat is severe, lasts for >2 days, occurs with or is followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting Advise patients to discontinue and seek medical advice if sore mouth symptoms last more than 7 days, or irritation, pain, or redness continues or worsens
