Orally 1-2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician.

Contraindicated in patient with known hypersensitivity to D-chiro-inositol.

D-Chiro-Inositol (D-Chiro-Ins) is a secondary messenger in the insulinsignaling pathway. D-Chiro-Ins modulates insulin secretion, themitochondrial respiratory chain, and glycogen storage. Due to these actions D-Chiro-Ins has been proposed to correct defective insulin function in a varietyof conditions characterized by metabolic dysfunction, such as polycystic ovarysyndrome (PCOS), obesity, gestational diabetes and fat accumulation atmenopause. Since it is unclear whether D-Chiro-Ins directly acts onadipocytes. DCI administration had beneficial effects on ovulation, anthropometric and metabolic markers in PCOS women by enhancing insulin. The effects of metformin in improving insulin action in PCOS women was achieved though the release of DCI-IPG mediators. D-Chiro-Ins is a known regulator of insulin secretion in pancreatic ?-cells where it also acts as a second messenger in the insulin receptor signaling pathway. Correction of MI(myo-inositol) and DCI (D-chiro-inositol) deficiency simultaneously, by using MDI (metered dose inhalers )therapy, may help in alleviating metabolic, menstrual/ovulatory, and cutaneous hyper androgenic features of PCOS.
