Indications

Scabies

Adult Dose

Adult: Topical As 25% emulsion: Apply over the whole body; repeat without bathing on the following day and wash off 24 hours later; a third application may be required in some cases

Contra Indications

Broken or irritated skin; neonates; pregnancy.

Precautions

Prevent drugs from entering the eyes of, elderly (drying effects). Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on broken or secondarily infected skin.

Benzyl benzoate is an acaricide that is used in the treatment of scabies.
