Anseng Capsule

Ginseng is used to treat decreased physical and mental capacities such as weakness, exhaustion, tiredness and loss of concentration. It is also used to treat type 2 diabetes, male impotence (erectile dysfunction) and improve menopausal symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia and depression.

1-2 Capsules 2 times daily after meal. For erectile dysfunction a daily dose of 3000 mg Panax Ginseng should be taken in divided doses. For other disease condition adult dose: 500-2000 mg Panax Ginseng in divided doses.

Ginseng can be taken with any other vitamin, minerals or herbal supplement. No known contraindications according to the German E Commission and World Health Organization (WHO).

Ginseng should be used cautiously in patients with diabetes as it may reduce the blood glucose level. Caution should also be taken during the use of Ginseng in patients with bleeding/clotting problems and in patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Ginseng is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation. No known restrictions according to the American Herbal Products Association and the German E Commission but controlled, long-term safety studies are lacking. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), ginseng root is included in prescriptions given during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

Panax ginseng has no known severe interactions with other drugs.

Side-effects include headache, diarrhea, itching, rash and dizziness.
