Indications

Nervemed is indicated where a deficiency of the relevant vitamins exists. It is indicated for the treatment of following diseases: Polyneuropathy of any origin such alcoholic or toxico neuropathies as-diabetic, Neuritis, Neuralgia, Cervical Syndrome, Shoulder-arm syndrome, Lumbago, Sciatica, Myalgia, Intercostal Neuralgia, Herpes Zoster, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Supportive treatment in Facial Paresis

Adult Dose

Tablet: 1-2 Tablets per day or as directed by the physician. Use in children: There is no information on the use of this drug in children

Contra Indications

Nervemed is contraindicated in patients on levodopa therapy, and in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation

Precautions

Cyanocobalamin should not be given in patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord. Cyanocobalamin is not suitable form of Ambra grasea for the treatment of optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin.

Adverse Effects

Generally well tolerated but allergic reactions may be observed in few cases.
