G-Cromo Eye & Nasal Drops

Asthma, Asthma propylaxis

Adults: Inhalation Asthma prophylaxis As dry powd/ nebulising soln: 20 mg 4 times/day As aerosol:10 mg 4 times/day, up to 6-8 times/day if needed, reduced to 5 mg 4 times/day once asthma has stabilised. Additional doses may be taken before exercise.

Hypersensitivity.

Lactation, cardiac arrhythmias, hepatic or renal dysfunction.

Nausea, headache, dizziness, unpleasant taste, joint pain and swelling, skin rashes, aggravation of asthma, pulmonary infiltrates with eosinophilia, urticaria. Bronchospasm, wheezing, cough, nasal congestion and throat irritation following inhalation of dry powder.

Sodium Cromoglycate inhibits degranulation of mast cells and therefore suppresses the release of histamine, leukotrienes and slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis.

G-Cromo 20 mg/ml Eye & Nasal Drops manufactured by Gonoshasthaya Pharmaceuticals Ltd.. Its generic name is Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromoglicic acid).
