Indications
Treatment of acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Adult Dose
Apply to the body, lather, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse. Twice a week.
Contra Indications
1. Hypersensitivity or allergy to phenol, carbolic acid, or coal tar–derived products.
2. Broken, severely irritated, or extensively damaged skin.
3. Not recommended for use on open wounds or burns.
Pregnancy-Lactation
External use is generally considered safe. Avoid prolonged or large-area application to prevent absorption
Should not be applied on cracked, bleeding, or very sensitive skin during pregnancy. No known harmful effects when used normally, but consultation with a doctor is recommended if used on large body areas.
Interactions
Avoid using with other strong antiseptic or medicated soaps.
Do not combine with retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or alcohol-based products (may increase irritation).
No major systemic interactions due to minimal absorption.

Skin dryness or roughness, Redness or irritation in sensitive skin
Possible allergic reactions (rare): rash, itching, swelling
Excessive use may cause skin discoloration or peeling.
Mechanism of Action
Phenocid (phenol) kills bacteria by breaking their cell membranes and denaturing proteins. It deeply cleanses the skin by removing dirt, oil, and dead cells, helping reduce acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Its antimicrobial action also prevents odor-causing germs.
